Philadelphia Police are investigating a stabbing in the city's East Oak Lane section.

EAST OAK LANE (WPVI) -- Philadelphia Police are investigating a stabbing in the city's East Oak Lane section.

It happened before 7 a.m. Sunday.

Police responded to a 911 call and found a 38-year-old man in the 200 block of West Laveer Street.

He had been stabbed in the arm by a suspect known to police.

The victim was rushed to Einstein Medical Center in critical condition.

Police did not recover a weapon at the scene.

So far there have been no arrests.
