11th annual Women of Courage Award

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- Women who are strong role models to others were honored in Center City Wednesday.

Mayor Jim Kenney was the keynote speaker at the 11th annual Women of Courage Award ceremony and luncheon.

The local non-profit organization, the Lutheran Settlement House, presented the awards to two local women for their commitment to the community.

The Lutheran Settlement House serves families here in Philadelphia.
