WEST CHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) -- West Chester's Maggie Guterl placed 4th in the World 24-hour Run Championships in Italy.

The race was Sunday morning.

Her USA teammates placed first and second to earn them the gold.

In a 24-hour race, competitors attempt to run as many miles as possible.

Guterl logged 146 miles.

A couple weeks ago Guterl told Action News, that she's thankful for her support here in the Delaware Valley.

"I wouldn't be going without all the support I've received from friends and family and runners I've never met," she said.

The U.S. men also had a great race, with a 4th place finish.

Congrats to Team USA!
