Police name Wilmington roads to be impacted by pope's visit

WILMINGTON, Del. -- On Friday, we learned how Pope Francis' visit to Philadelphia is expected to impact some roads and highways in Wilmington, Delaware.

Wilmington Police has put out a list of all the roads they expect will be affected:

Roadways in the City of Wilmington that will be impacted by the Papal Visit to Philadelphia on 9/25, 9/26, 9/27 and 9/28/15 :

MLK Jr. Blvd from Madison St. to Walnut St. ( Heavy Traffic Volume )

Wilmington Blvd. from Market St. to Justison St. ( Heavy Traffic Volume )

S. Madison St. east of MLK Jr. Blvd. ( Heavy Traffic Volume )

S. Justison St. east of MLK Jr. Blvd. ( Heavy Traffic Volume )

S. Market St. ( Heavy Traffic Volume )

S. West St. ( Heavy Traffic Volume )

Water St. ( Partial Closure )

Rosa Parks Dr. ( Closed )

S. French St. ( Closed )

All other roadways in the immediate area are subject to intermittent closures to compensate for the Heavy Traffic Volume.
