Wrapped body found in West Oak Lane section of Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are investing the discovery of a man's body in the West Oak Lane section of Philadelphia.

The discovery came around 12 a.m. Friday in the 2000 block of Stenton Avenue.

Action News is told the 42-year-old victim had been shot twice and wrapped in a blanket.

Investigators believe the body was dropped there.

They are working to determine the victim's identity, who killed him and why.
