DELAWARE COUNTY, Pa. (WPVI) -- A wrong-way driver was arrested on Monday after police say he crashed into multiple vehicles on I-95 in Delaware County.

It happened around 3 p.m. when police say they attempted to pull over a 41-year-old man in a black Ford vehicle near the Philadelphia International Airport.

That's when police say the driver jumped a median, struck two vehicles and continued to travel on I-95 northbound in the opposite direction, striking another vehicle head-on.

"I saw the front of the grill and I swerved, it just happened so quickly, you know?" said 19-year-old Colin Miller.

Miller says he was traveling on northbound I-95 when seemingly out of nowhere, he sees a black Ford F-150 coming barreling towards him and his 2019 silver Genesis at a high rate of speed.

"I look up and there's a car coming my way, a big truck and I swerved and I got hit and then after that-- all I remember was turning," recalled Miller.

Miller suffered minor injuries. The driver of the Ford F-150 was identified by Pennsylvania State Police as 41-year-old Anthony Colabove of Wayne. He was rushed to the hospital with various injuries.

"I had to pull over, my heart was pounding so bad. First, I was like, 'Why is he going the wrong way?' said Jenn Bevilacqua.

Bevilacqua couldn't believe what she was seeing.

"All of a sudden, I see a car coming the wrong way, I swerved to avoid it. And then I see the cops chasing him, I figured it was something serious but I literally had to pull over because I almost had a panic attack driving," she said.

Police say Colabove is being charged with DUI and drug possession.
