Young woman dies after falling 20 feet in Juniata

JUNIATA (WPVI) -- A 20-year-old woman died after falling 20 feet in the Juniata section of Philadelphia.

It happened around 3 a.m. Sunday on the 4500 block of Castor Avenue.

Police tell Action News the young woman was driving with friends when they pulled over so she could go to the bathroom.

That's when they say she fell from a bridge overpass.

Her body was recovered by the Philadelphia Fire Department and was taken to the medical examiner's office.

Police are questioning her friends who were in the car as their investigation continues.
