Police: Man steals $8,000 engagement ring from Zales

POTTSTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- Limerick Township police are searching for the suspect who stole an $8,000 engagement ring from a jewelry store.

It happened last Wednesday at the Zales in the outlet mall in Pottstown.

The suspect was spotted in the store about 90 minutes before the theft.

Police say he went to another jewelry store before returning and asking to see the ring.

Once an employee handed it over, he ran out of the store.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
