One dead after crash on snowy road in Cherry Hill

CHERRY HILL, N.J. (WPVI) -- One person is dead after a crash involving several vehicles on a snow-covered road in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

The accident was reported before 9:00 a.m. Tuesday in the 1700 block of Haddonfield-Berlin Road.

Images from the scene broadcast on Action News at noon showed a car with significant front-end damage.

Two vans were also stopped at the scene amid a number of police cars. One of those vans also appeared to have front-end damage.

The road was closed for hours after the crash, but reopened just before 1 p.m.

The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.

We are also awaiting word of any other injuries in this crash.

The name of the person killed has not been released.
