Multi-vehicle crash on WB Pa. Turnpike in Lower Moreland

LOWER MORELAND TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- One person was hurt in a multi-vehicle crash Wednesday morning that tied up traffic on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

Chopper 6 was over the scene on the westbound lanes in Lower Moreland Township around 8:25 a.m.

Several cars were involved and, at one point, the wreckage blocked the entire road.

Police tell Action News one person had a head injury.

There was no word on how serious the injury was or what caused the crash.
