DEVON, Pa. (WPVI) -- Die-hard Tesla fans began camping out Wednesday night to be first in line to reserve the new Model 3 car.
Some people bought chairs, blankets and books as they waited for the Devon, Pennsylvania store to open Thursday morning.
These folks are planning to put a $1,000 refundable reserve deposit on a car that they haven't seen yet.
Tesla doesn't start delivering the car until late next year.
The car has generated so much excitement because the Model 3 is expected to cost around $35,000 which is half of Tesla's other two models.
Ken Barbour of Deptford, New Jersey said, "I've always like the Tesla, however the price has been kind of high. This is going to be their mass market car that everybody can afford."
