Dead man found on roof of abandoned Chester home

CHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) -- Police in Chester, Pa. are trying to figure out how a dead man wound up on the roof of a home.

Officers were called to the 2300 block of Providence Avenue just after 10 a.m. Friday for a report of a man on top of an abandoned residence.

When police arrived they found 33-year-old Adam Hoffman face down on the roof.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say there are no signs of foul play, but the investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information on Hoffman's death should contact Chester police.
