Citibank announces checkless checking account

NEW YORK -- Citibank announced Tuesday it's offering a checking account without checks.

People who prefer making their payments online or through mobile devices no longer need or want checks.

Bank of America and Chase also offer similar checkless checking accounts.

Check writers need not worry; experts say checks aren't likely to go away anytime soon.
