Fire damages home in Bridgeton, Cumberland County

BRIDGETON, N.J. (WPVI) -- Firefighters battled a house fire in Bridgeton, Cumberland County.

The blaze was first reported before 9 a.m. Tuesday on the 100 block of East Commerce Street.

Crews arrived on the scene, and a second alarm was struck an hour later.

Video from Chopper 6 showed fire department activity in the rear of an older, multi-story home.

There were no immediate reports of injuries.

It was not clear what may have sparked the blaze.
