SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Firefighters have responded to a fire and reported explosion at an auto body shop in Southwest Philadelphia.
It happened around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday on Greenway Avenue near 67th Street.
Heavy fire was showing in the rear of the building when crews arrived.
Chopper 6 over the scene showed a large amount of smoke.
Fire officials also reported a partial collapse of the building's roof.
Rhonda Hayward says the flames came terrifyingly close to her house.
"I heard an explosion, so I got up, looked, and said 'Oh my God my window is red,' and I went over there and touched the window but the window was hot. So I jumped back and went out my back, but the flames were coming toward me so I had to back up," she said.
No injuries were reported. An investigation into the cause of the fire continues.
