Dozens sick at East Stroudsburg University

EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. (WPVI) -- East Stroudsburg University is trying to figure out what made dozens of students sick this week.

Approximately 42 students have symptoms most closely related to a stomach virus.

That number includes both on-campus and commuter students.

The university in Monroe County says the illness does not appear to be food-related.

Not all of the sick students had been through the university's dining services.

The school is cleaning the facilities just in case.
