50 homes affected by water main break in Southwest Philadelphia

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Officials said 50 customers in Southwest Philadelphia are without service due to an 8-inch water main break.

The Action Cam was along the 7400 block of Elmood Avenue.

Philadelphia water crews were notified around 5:30 p.m. Monday of the break and responded to shore up the fault.

The street is cordoned off, and officials said it will likely remain closed to traffic since the break started to compromise the road.
