Man killed doing electrical work in South Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Investigators say a 56-year-old man was pronounced dead after an industrial accident in South Philadelphia Saturday afternoon.

Police say the man was severely injured while doing electrical work in a customer's backyard along South Marshall Street.

Medical personnel responded to the scene and pronounced the victim dead just before 2 p.m.

His identity has not yet been released.
