1 dead, 1 critical after shooting in North Philadelphia

Homicide detectives are investigating a deadly double shooting in North Philadelphia.

NORTH PHILADELPHIA -- Police are investigating a double shooting in North Philadelphia that left one man dead and the other in critical condition.



It happened around 6 p.m. Tuesday in the 2100 block of North Van Pelt Street.



Police say a 21-year-old man was shot once in the neck. He was taken to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.



A 22-year-old man was shot in the left forehead. He is listed in critical condition at Temple.



So far, no arrests have been made.
