1,000 bales of hay erupt in flames at Pa. mushroom farm

New Garden Township., Pa. (WPVI) -- One thousand bales of hay erupted in flames at Modern Mushroom Farms in Chester County.

The fire started around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday on the 1300 block of Newark Road in New Garden Township.

Fire crews from Lancaster and the State of Delaware joined forces to bring the flames under control.

The hay bales were stacked up near a barn.

There were no reports of injuries.
