POINT BREEZE (WPVI) -- Two men were wounded and two women, including one who is pregnant, narrowly escaped injury in a shooting in the Point Breeze section of Philadelphia.

It happened after 12:00 a.m. Wednesday on South 30th Street near Moore Street.

Police arrived to find a 22-year-old man shot in the leg, a 20-year-old man shot in the buttocks and foot, and 24 bullet casings littering the street.

Both men were taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania with stable vital signs.

Police told Action News a third apparent target fled into a home and was not hurt.

Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small said a bullet fired into that home missed that person's sister, who is 6 months pregnant, by three feet.

A 22-year-old woman, who was sleeping on a couch, also narrowly missed being hit.

There was no immediate word what led to the shootings.

Police are working to identify suspects.
