3 firefighters hurt battling Medford Lakes blaze

MEDFORD LAKES, N.J. (WPVI) -- Three firefighters were hurt battling a blaze on Friday afternoon in Medford Lakes, New Jersey.

The two-alarm fire broke out in the 100 block of Mohawk Trail. It was reported around 2:30 p.m.

Those firefighters were taken to local hospitals for treatment of minor injuries.

One resident of the home was able to escape.

The view from Chopper 6 HD showed a large plume of smoke rising from the scene.

There was no word on how this fire started.
