4-alarm building fire in Reading

READING, Pa. (WPVI) -- Officials are investigating what lead up to a four alarm fire in Reading.

It happened around 3:00 a.m. Saturday in part of the old Reading Outlets complex at 8th and Oley streets.

The flames began in the lower levels of the building and went up an elevator shaft.

The fire eventually went to four alarms and crews spent much of the morning putting out hotspots.

No one was injured.

The cause is still under investigation.
