4 injured in SUV crash in Somerton

SOMERTON (WPVI) -- Four people are hospitalized after an SUV slammed into a parked truck in the Somerton section of Philadelphia.

The accident occurred around 3 a.m. Sunday on the 13500 block of Philmont Avenue.

The driver and one passenger had to be freed by firefighters.

They were taken to Aria Health Torresdale in critical condition.

Two other passengers are hospitalized in stable condition.

Police are trying to determine what caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle.
