5 injured in New Castle County head-on crash

TALLEYVILLE, Del. (WPVI) -- Five people were injured, two critically, after a head-on crash in New Castle County.

The accident happened around 11:50 p.m. Saturday on the 3900 block of Thompsons Bridge Road in Talleyville, Delaware.

Authorities say a Mitsubishi and a Honda collided.

The impact of the crash caused the Mitsubishi to flip over, trapping passengers in both vehicles.

Firefighters worked to free the injured from the two cars.

Five people were taken to Christiana Hospital.

Two victims remain in critical condition, while three suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
