FAIRMOUNT PARK (WPVI) -- Six people, including three children, were injured after two vehicles collided in Fairmount Park.

The accident was reported just before 5 p.m. Wednesday on Martin Luther King Drive, just off Strawberry Mansion Bridge.

Police investigate a multi-vehicle crash in Fairmount Park.

Three children, ages 6,9 and 14, a 33-year-old woman and 36-year-old man were rushed to Hahnemann University Hospital.

The 33-year-old woman is listed in critical condition; the rest are stable.

A 50-year-old man was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in stable condition.

MLK Drive was closed to traffic as police conducted an investigation, and cleared the scene. It reopened just before 7 p.m.

The cause of the crash is unknown at this time. Police AID is investigating.
