NORRISTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- A man has been arrested for a 2011 murder in Norristown, Pa.
The Montgomery County District Attorney's office announced on Friday that Omar Terrell Massenburg, age 23, was arraigned on Wednesday.
He is charged with the killing of D'Ravious "Ray" Dawkins, who was 17 when he died.
The arrest was announced on the five-year anniversary of the killing.
Investigators say it was on March 18, 2011 that Dawkins was found with a gunshot wound in the area of Noble and West Oak streets. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
"We never let this case go cold. There was work being done on this murder throughout these five years," said Montgomery County DA Kevin Steele in a statement.
Massenburg was denied bail and is being held in the Montgomery County Correctional Facility.
