DELANCO, N.J. (WPVI) -- A body, believed to be that of a missing swimmer, was found in the Delaware River in Delanco, Burlington County.
Marine units from Pennsylvania and New Jersey scoured the area around Hawk Island Wednesday evening.
Officials say they were notified by a friend of the missing swimmer just before 5 p.m.
The body was recovered on the Jersey side of the river around 7 p.m.
The missing swimmer was last seen in the area where the Delaware River meets the Rrancocas Creek.
