FAIRMOUNT PARK (WPVI) -- Family members have confirmed to Action News that the body found Sunday along the banks of the Schuylkill River is that of missing teacher Christopher Tully.
Police recovered the body at 1:00 p.m. in the 4400 block of Kelly Drive, near the Falls Bridge in Fairmount Park.
The award winning Bucks County teacher and married father of three had been missing since Tuesday January 6th.
Family members say the 40-year-old was in a vehicle with his parents when he got out where City Avenue meets Lincoln Drive in Philadelphia and fled on foot.
No word yet on his exact cause of death.
Tully worked at the Middle Bucks Institute of Technology in Warwick.
