Car overturns in serious, multi-vehicle crash in Bellmawr, N.J.

BELLMAWR, N.J. (WPVI) -- A serious multi-vehicle crash has shut down traffic at a busy intersection in Bellmawr, New Jersey.

It happened before 5:00 a.m. Monday on the South Black Horse Pike at East Browning Road.

Police tell Action News three vehicles collided, resulting in injuries.

Images from the Action Cam broadcast live on Action News at 6:00 a.m. showed one vehicle lying on its roof, a minivan with extensive front-end damage and a sedan that had also sustained damage.

There were no immediate details on the number or extent of injuries.

The crash took out traffic signals at the intersection.

Police were directing motorists away from the area as medics treated the injured and police investigated.
