Connect-Home initiative
High speed internet is becoming available to more families in Camden

CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- High speed internet is becoming available to more families in Camden.

It's one of 27 cities benefiting from the federal Connect-Home initiative, to reduce the digital divide in low income communities.

Mayor Dana Redd joined children as they surfed the web on computers donated from Comcast at the Housing Authority's community center.

Job seekers will also find a new kiosk where they can search and apply for new jobs.
