DA: Montco middle school teacher had sex with student

NORRISTOWN (WPVI) -- A 33-year-old teacher in Montgomery County has been arrested and charged with allegedly having sex with a 14-year-old student.

Jessica Streeper, 33, is a math teacher at Eisenhower Middle School in Norristown.

According to District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman, Streeper and the victim - an 8th grade student in her class - began by exchanging text messages.

The messages were sexual in nature, investigators said.

Then, according to the DA's office, Streeper would pick up the victim from his home in Norristown and the two would have sex in both her car and her home in Doylestown, Bucks County.

The investigation began after an anonymous tip, the DA's office said.

In a statement, the Norristown School District said "We are deeply saddened and troubled by the allegations and we look forward to the law enforcement authorities following through with their investigations."

Streeper was set to be arraigned on Thursday afternoon.
