WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- A church in Delaware had to be evacuated Sunday morning after a fire occurred in the basement.
The fire broke out around 9:15 a.m. at the Westminster Presbyterian Church located on West 13th Street in Wilmington.
Officials say a fire occurred in the heater located in the basement of the church.
The fire caused heavy smoke conditions throughout the building, causing all parishioners to be evacuated.
No injuries were reported.
There is no word on any damage at this time.
The Wilmington Fire Department continues to investigate.
