Displaying the cost of deportation

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Dozens of people gathered Monday night to create a new mural to show how deportation impacts families in Philadelphia.

In front of the ICE building they wrote out: "We Are Human Beings, Risking Our Lives, For Our Families and Our Futures."

It is a quote from a young mother who was detained in Berks Family Detention Center after she was unjustly deported back to Guatemala.

The mural is part of Michelle Ortiz's Familias Separadas Project.
