Driver injured after car strikes pole, burst into flames

MOUNT LAUREL, N.J. (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a crash in which a car burst into flames in Mount Laurel, New Jersey.

The incident happened around 3:30 p.m. Saturday on Church Road and Cobblestone Drive.

Police said the driver lost control of the car and hit a utility pole, causing the vehicle to burst into flames.

The driver, and lone occupant of the vehicle, was taken to Cooper University Health Care for nonlife-threatening injuries.
