The TSA is investigating a claim that a 90-year-old woman was asked to strip down at a security checkpoint.
Harriette Charney's son Alan says, he took his mother to Portland International Airport last Saturday following a two week visit.
He says the TSA's scanners picked up on a small pocket his mom had sewn into her bra, and screeners asked her to step into a room.
She was then allegedly asked to remove all of her clothing, from the waist up.
TSA officials say that would be an unusual request, and a pat down would have been sufficient.
Alan Charney says his mom was shaken by the incident.
