Fire damages surf shop on Ocean City Boardwalk

OCEAN CITY, N.J. (WPVI) -- Flames broke out inside a shop on the Ocean City Boardwalk in New Jersey.

It happened around 8:00 Saturday night at the 7th Street Surf Shop.

Firefighters were met with flames and smoke upon arrival.

Firefighters brought the blaze under control within a half hour.

The fire was confined to the shop only and caused heavy damage.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
