Fire damages vacant apartment building in Point Breeze

POINT BREEZE (WPVI) -- Philadelphia firefighters knocked down a blaze inside a vacant apartment building.

It broke out at 1:45 a.m. Monday in the 1500 block of South Lambert Street, in the Point Breeze section of the city.

Firefighters arrived to find smoke throughout the building.

They pinpointed the source and quickly doused the flames.

Neighbors tell Action News the building has been empty ever since fire damaged the same place two weeks ago.
