VENTNOR (WPVI) -- Officials say fire destroyed two homes at the Jersey Shore early Friday morning.
The fire broke out just before 2:30 a.m. inside a house on the 100 block of North Dudley Avenue in Ventnor.
The flames quickly spread to a neighboring home.
Both houses suffered heavy smoke and fire damage. A roof collapsed in one house.
It took about an hour to get the fire under control.
All the residents got out safely, so far there are no reports of injuries.
Investigators are trying to determine what sparked the blaze.
