Fire doused at Southwest Philadelphia refinery

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Firefighters have doused a fire that sparked a hazmat situation at a refinery in Southwest Philadelphia.

The incident happened at Philadelphia Energy Solutions in the 3000 block of Penrose Avenue.

The call came in around noon Friday for a fire at one of the refinery's furnaces.

Chopper 6 was overhead as multiple fire crews poured water on the building.

The fire was out by 12:35 p.m.

No one was injured.
