Fire rips through 2 school buses in Northeast Philadelphia

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Two school buses were destroyed after a fire in a bus yard in Northeast Philadelphia.

It happened around 8:00 p.m. Thursday along Byberry Road near Woodhaven Road.

The buses, which belong to the Philadelphia School District, were parked in a yard there.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze quickly and no one was injured.

The cause has not yet been determined.
