Firefighters battle blaze at Italian Market in South Philadelphia

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Firefighters battled a fire at the Italian Market in South Philadelphia.

The blaze was reported at 6:45 a.m. Tuesday in the 1100 block of South 9th Street.

Images from Chopper 6 HD showed several firefighting units on the scene and some smoke coming from the roof of one of the shops.

At least a dozen firefighters were moving in and out of the store. The fire appeared to be under control.

No injuries were reported.

There was no immediate word what sparked the blaze.
