Gunman robs Tavern on Broad in Center City

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- Police are looking for the gunman who robbed a sports bar in Center City.

The robbery took place around 12:30 a.m. Sunday at Tavern on Broad inside the Hyatt at the Bellevue on the 200 block of South Broad Street.

Investigators say the suspect walked into the bar wearing a mask and demanded money from the manager.

After getting the cash, the man ran off.

No shots were fired and there were no injuries.

Detectives are looking at surveillance video to try to identify the gunman.
