ATLANTA (WPVI) -- A day of holiday travel for one airline passenger in Atlanta was both phenomenal - and frustrating.
It all started when Larry Kendrick got off the plane to major fanfare at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
Music was playing inside, and there was a water cannon salute outside.
Local leaders were there, at the world's busiest airport to celebrate their 100 millionth passenger, Larry Kendrick of Boloxi, Mississippi.
Kendrick received a whole prize package including two round-trip tickets anywhere Delta flies, $500 and a new car.
The only rub is with all of the fanfare Kendrick missed his connecting flight.
