Man charged with wife's murder in Point Breeze

POINT BREEZE (WPVI) -- A man has been charged in the stabbing death of his wife in the Point Breeze section of Philadelphia.

Police were called to the 1500 block of S. 19th Street at 3:47 p.m. Friday.

Anthony Potter, 67, was found with stab wounds alongside the body of his wife, 63-year-old Robin Potter.

The discovery was made by the couple's son.

Sources earlier told Action News that a knife and a pair of scissors were recovered inside the bedroom.

Action News was also told by sources there had been a history of domestic problems between the couple.

Anthony Potter is charged with murder and related offenses.
