Man dies after being shot while driving in Claymont, Del.

CLAYMONT, Del. (WPVI) -- A 23-year-old man has died after a shooting in Claymont, Delaware.

The shooting happened around 6:30 p.m. Thursday on Jacqueline Drive, near the Brandywine Apartment Complex.

Police said Jamai White was shot while driving a pickup truck, causing the vehicle to exit the roadway.

He was rushed to Christiana Hospital and later died from the wounds to his upper body.

Police only have a vague description of the shooter.
