Man injured in Wissinoming stabbing

WISSINOMING (WPVI) -- A man is hospitalized after suffering wounds to his neck in a stabbing in Philadelphia's Wissinoming section.

It happened shortly before 5 p.m. Friday on the 5000 block of Torresdale Avenue.

Police and paramedics responded to a report of a stabbing along the block.

Crews arrived to find a 47-year-old man with injuries to his neck.

He was transported to Aria Torresdale Hospital as a trauma alert. At last check he was listed in stable condition.

So far, police have made no arrests and do not have a motive for the incident.
