FRANKFORD (WPVI) -- A man was shot and killed in the Frankford section of Philadelphia.
It happened just after 10 p.m. Saturday on the 4600 block of Penn Street.
Police say an unidentified suspect kicked open the front door of the 41-year-old victim's apartment and shot him twice - once in the chest and once in the right leg - and then ran out of the residence.
Upon exiting the apartment, a struggle ensued between the suspect and a witness who was standing on the front porch, during which the suspect dropped his firearm and cell phone and fled on foot.
The victim was rushed to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 10:40 p.m.
No arrests have been made.
