Man shot, killed in Port Richmond drive-by shooting

PORT RICHMOND (WPVI) -- A 21-year-old man was shot and killed in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia.

The shooting occurred around 5:09 a.m. Thursday in the 3500 block of Almond Street.

Police responded to a report of a person with a gun in the area. Upon arrival, they found Ryan Kelly suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.

Kelly was rushed to Temple University Hospital and pronounced dead at 5:31 a.m.

Investigators are working on a description of the car that fled the scene.
