Man shot in Pennypack Park in Mayfair

MAYFAIR (WPVI) -- Philadelphia Police are investigating a shooting in Pennypack Park in the city's Mayfair section.

Officers were called at 12:21 p.m. Tuesday to the 7400 block of Rowland Street.

They arrived to find a 21-year-old man in the park suffering from a gunshot wound to the stomach.

Medics took him to Aria Health/Torresdale with stable vital signs.

Police were working to determine who shot the man and why.

There have been no arrests.
